
FIRST Robotics Competition for MO-KAN State Championships
Welcome to the home of the FIRST Robotics Competition for Missouri & Kansas Regional Championships. Our mission is to bring together the best teams from across the state to compete in a thrilling robotics competition.

We are taking preregistrations now until May 4th, 2025. After competition season is over we will be calculating the top 36 teams in the area to compete for the title of Missouri-Kansas Championship winners. Qualification will be based on district points system.
​
If your team qualifies, we will send you a $500 invoice for your registration to the event. This $500 price helps offset the cost of the venue and field rental. Invoices are due May 15th.
​
We will also send you a link to our waiver and release which we ask you to forward to make sure all participants have one filled. That waiver is also referenced below.

Our state championship will be held at North Kansas City High School on June 6th - June 8th, 2025. Get ready for an action-packed day filled with excitement and innovation, as we bring together the best and brightest young minds from across the area.

Preregistration for the event is open now until May 4th. Don't miss your chance to be a part of this incredible competition. You will be place on the list for registration and no money is needed until qualification has been confirmed. Invoices will be sent out after May 4th and are due May 15th.

Competition Details
Pit Load-In will be Friday evening and optionally Saturday Morning at 8 am. We encourage you to load in early if you can so we have only a few teams needing that Saturday morning load in. Pit areas will be 10x10.

We plan on setting up FRC NEXUS for match queuing notifications. You can pickup your QR code from Pit Admin to set up your team's notifications.
​
Robot Inspections will be light and part of the process to access the field for practice matches. We will arrange a couple practice matches to ensure robot connectivity to the field and to allow some calibration for the field.
​
No Rule changes as of now. We will access updates related to Districts Champions and if they should be applied.
​
​Concessions will be offered by host team STING-R.
​​
No Machine Shop will be available; plan accordingly.
NKCHS will not be liable for items left in team's pit overnight.
As with FIRST competitions, safety glasses must be worn in and around the pits by everybody at all times. Extra safety glasses will not be available at the site. Each team should bring extra safety glasses for parents and other spectators to put on when they visit your pit area.

All participants and supporters are expected to exhibit gracious professionalism during the entire competition. Any behavior that leads to a potential safety concern may result in a warning to the individual(s). Extreme behaviors will not be tolerated and could lead to removal from the event and site.
